Terms of Use
Last updated: October 31, 2026
These terms apply when you use ProEstimate (the “Service”) at proestimateapp.com. By signing in or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
ProEstimate is a web application for contractors and builders: estimates, materials and labor lists, change orders, quotes and invoices, schedules, daily reports, safety inspections, files, comments and team chat for construction projects.
2. Accounts, teams and access
- You sign in with your email address and a one-time code sent to it. Keep your email account secure; you are responsible for activity under your sign-in.
- A team owner can add or remove team members and can give the Manager role (which can approve reports). Team members can see the projects of their team.
- Access may be granted for a limited period, for example through an invitation code. We may change or end free offers and will try to give reasonable notice.
3. Your content
- You own the content you enter or upload (projects, customer details, files, photos, messages). You give us permission to host, process and display it only as needed to run the Service for you and your team.
- You are responsible for your content and for having the right to upload it, including your clients’ contact details. Do not upload anything unlawful, harmful or infringing, or malicious files.
- Client links (“client portal”) show a summary of a project to anyone who has the link. Share them only with the intended person. You can turn a link off at any time.
- Individual uploaded files are limited to 20 MB.
4. Not professional advice
- Estimates, quantities, schedules (including the critical path), templates and checklists are tools to help you work. They can contain mistakes. Always check results and measurements before ordering materials, quoting, or relying on a schedule.
- The safety checklist and any OSHA references are a general recommendation only. They are not legal, engineering or safety advice and do not guarantee compliance with OSHA or any other rule. Verify against the current official rules, your type of work, state and local requirements, your site safety plan and your contract, and use a qualified professional where needed.
- An approval of a change order through a client link records a name and date entered by the client. It is a record of agreement, not a verified electronic signature. For important contracts, get legal advice about signature requirements.
5. Availability and your data
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. You can download your projects from the app at any time. Keep your own copies of important records.
6. Ending use
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if the Service is misused, or if we must do so by law. You can ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy).
7. Limits of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not stated here, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, project delays, estimating or scheduling errors, or safety outcomes. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if you paid nothing.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Questions: [email protected].
